In October Janice and I made the long awaited trip to Maine to see the fall foliage and do some family history on her side of the family. Maine was my 50th state to visit.
Southport Island Maine
We happend onto a local historian, shown on the right, who made a call and access to a local museum that was usually closed. We were taking pictures of a monument and cemetary and she stopped to ask us what we were doing. She was really amazing. Later, she took us on tour of the entire Island and gave us a full history.
